Update on Isabella Crane and Flea Market chair

Hi all,

I thought you might like an update on Isabella Crane (dress form extraordinaire).

She is standing in my office and in my opinion, kind of naked. So I thought I would dress her up a bit. I got out the trusty papers, scissors, glue and of course glitter, and made her a beautiful crown and sash. She looks so much better and less naked. Although I think she needs some kind of pretty skirt. (Something to look for at the next flea market).

I also thought you might like to see what I did with the cute chair I bought on Saturday at the Paris Flea Market. I incorporated it into a little garden vignette.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell all of you how much I appreciate, all of your wonderful comments. I look forward to reading and seeing your blogs each day as well.
I am amazed at how many nice, friendly special women there are, with the same interests as I have. I didn't realize how much fun I would have, sharing with all of you.
I haven't been doing this too long, but I am having a wonderful time.
So thank you!!

Your little garden vignette is lovely. The chair looks really sweet and I like the look of that window frame in the background. So glad you're enjoying being a part of this creative blogging community. Like you I have been totally amazed to meet so many wonderful like minded women from all around the World. It really is fun isn't it?

Ah, I can almost see Isabella decked out in a nice pink taffeta skirt... Here's hoping you discover something wonderful for her-- I'm sure you will. :-)

Have a great week!

Isabella looks quite comfortable in her new home.
Today, my dress form (hmmm, no name yet) is wearing a vintage full apron with pansies and organza ruffles. At other times, she's feeling a little more flirty and wears a half apron with pink roses. :)

Your little garden vignetteis completely charming!

I have been looking for an Isabella to model our new aprons. She must not have any southern cousins. What a pity!

Your garden vignette is charming! Isabella Crane is looking cute, but I agree, she needs a skirt. Maybe a long tutu?

Love that you made Isabella a crown and sash...remember I told you my "girl" was named Giselle? Well now I want to tell you that I have a wardrobe just like yours only it's painted blue. Thought that was interesting :)
Love your vignette too.
