Clowning Around!!

Either you like clowns or you don't!!
Not a big fan! I was traumatized by a clown stepping/stomping on my foot as a child while attending a birthday party. They can be a bit scary I guess.

Anyway, my friend Barbara from Garden Memories, asked me to do a little circus/fair theme for her shop. The Ventura County Fair will be coming to town soon, so she thought it would be fun to have a little Summertime, Circus, Fair atmosphere.

I actually like the vintage feel of these clowns. They are growing on me. I hope other people find them fun!

Just wanted to do a little post before the weekend. Hope you all have fun plans for the last weekend in May.
Pretty soon I am going to start working on Halloween for the shop. Time flies when you are playing with glitter.
Have a great weekend!
Love,
Rosemary

Your boxes are wonderful! I feel the same way about clowns. Though I am intrigued by vintage or antique circus items. I can't wait to see your Halloween goodies!

Hugs! Nancy

Rosemary, it's good to know I'm not the only one who finds clowns a bit scary. However, these are totally adorable. Nope, not scared one bit.

I LOVE your clown work, Rosemary! I admit I always thought clowns were a bit scary, too! But it was those ventriloquist puppets that REALLY scared the pants off me! lol I hope you have a lovely weekend!

I have some issues with clowns myself, but do like the pieces you've done. Maybe because they're vintage styled and muted, it makes them less scary. :)...

Or it could be all that great sparkle!
