Sara, from http://sadieolive.typepad.com/ Is having a red week, this week. So I decided to take some pictures of red things around my house.
I do like the color red!!
I have a red wall in my living room. We painted it several years ago as part of the HGTV show we were on, Weekend Warriors. (Something you probably didn't know)
A pretty red glass pitcher that I got from my mom.
A cute little red chair, I have high up on my hutch. Right now it's holding a silver teapot. The teapot is a favorite of mine. I bought it on a trip to San Francisco. It is from the cutest shop called the Brown Dirt Cowboy on Polk St.
This chippy red shelf/cupboard I bought from my friend Karen. (One of my flea market friends)
A red teapot I always keep on the stove. (I have a cup of decaf English tea every night)

I really like the pops of red. It works so well with your softer, cooler tones.
The shade of red you tend to choose is particularly nice, too, a nice, deep, true red.

Love red!! Red says...cozy, but I think if it's in a restaurant it says....EAT. So I don't want too much!! Yours is beautiful.
