Cecil Bruner, and Other Cool Stuff!!

It's Tuesday night, so Happy Tuesday night!!

Remember a few posts back, I said I ordered a Cecil Bruner Rose? Well here she is, or is it he?
A pretty girly pink rose with a guy's name.

Anyway, I love it. It's so fragrant, and you can make tiny bouquets from the buds. I told my husband Mark, not to get me flowers for Mother's Day, I'm already happy with these.

I hope this takes off, and grows up the trellis, FAST!! In other news, I already received my package from Carol. http://www.raisedincotton.com/

I got 2 wire cloches. The tall one, I used over my candle holder. (When you order, you get 2)
The shorter one I used over one of my nests.
I got the cutest metal nest, it's an off white, with kind of faded blue eggs. (could not resist another nest)
I also ordered this pretty white pedestal. I haven't decided what to put on it yet, but isn't it cute? I love everything I have gotten from Carol's new site. It seems she is adding new things daily.
By the way, she is so fast. I ordered, she mailed the next morning, and it got here a few days later. Thanks Carol!!
I hope you all have a good week!!
Love,
Rosemary

Cecil Bruner is one of my very favorites! Wow, what amazing goodies from Carol. I love the wire cloches. The little birds nest is adorable. I was at my MIL this eveing and she gave me a birds nest she found in her backyard. It truly is beautiful . I will post it soon on my blog.

Hi Rosemary, Hope you've got a strong trellis for that rose! If you look at my pictures from last Sunday. That's the rose that I have growing over my barn. It really is a beautiful one! Love those wire cloches!!!

Rosemary, your new blog look is wonderful, seems much more you! Great job.
I popped over to Carol's very quickly last week but not long enough to shop so I'll be going back. (I bought some soaps from her a few months back and still love them)
Nice visiting!

Your rose is beautiful. My climber really took off this year, and just adds so much to my landscape. Hope yours does too!

Your whole post is beautiful. I was impressed by the lavender in the bird feeder. I wish I'd thought of that before I gave my beautiful cast iron feeder to good will. It had the cutest cast iron birds on it and was shaped like a leaf. I really used it where I lived before to feed the birds and I didn't want to disturb the neighbors with bird noise as I live in a condo now. I just love vintage thingies like that.

Your new look is beautiful! I love my Cecil Brunner....I will post a picture of it soon. You will have to be firm with her, though. She is a rambler, and before you know it she will take over everywhere.

Oh Rosemary,

This is one of my favorite roses. We restored an 1897 Victorian a while back and I planted Cecile Bruner (the climbing version) all the way around the picket fence. The look was incredible....right out of a fairy tale book. It just blooms and blooms and blooms....love it!!

Thank you for this lovely post.....nice memories!

Best,

LaurieAnna
