Christmas Sneak Peek!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. Now that it's over we can concentrate on our holiday decorating. That is just what I have been doing. As of yesterday, the Thanksgiving/Fall decor went away, and out came Christmas!!

Every year it changes a little bit. I am much more into the vintage look. I also like a lot of silver. I thought I would post a few shots of what I have done so far. It is a slow process. I have to walk around and place things in just the right places. Then I look at it for awhile to see if it makes the cut. (Crazy, I know)

I think my next few posts will be sharing my Christmas decorations with you. I have a lot more to show you.
I can't wait to see all of your decorations as well.

I also wanted to let you know that it is getting closer to my 100 post. I will be having a little giveaway. Can't wait for that!

Enjoy your Turkey Day leftovers!!

I'm doing it too - walking about and trying to decide what goes where as my look is changing too. Working in more neutral shades, but of course there are some colorful things I love so much I just can't part with them!
Yours look lovely so far.

By the way - do you know of any way to make silver/silverplate acquire that tarnished appearance quicker? I've bought a silverplated ice bucket which has been polished and I want it tarnished!! Thanks Rosemary.

I do the same thing, place something, look at for a while, tinker with it, maybe move it maybe not - it's all part of the creative process.

I love the silver platter with the ornaments! Can't wait to see all the other things you do!

I have been much more vintage in thought lately too. But sadly I do not have the time right now to hunt the things I would like so I guess it will have to wait until next year!!!! I love your sneak peeks. How are the newlyweds????
I cannot wait to see all of your holiday magic!!!"See" you soon!!!!

Very pretty! Looking forward to seeing more.

I know what you mean about walking around to find just the right spot. I do that too, but tend to just leave it there even if it's not "perfect". Just lazy, I guess.
