Meeting Martha!

Hope you all had a nice St. Patrick's Day!!

I had a very exciting day this past Saturday. I got to meet Martha of MJ Ornaments. http://mjornaments.blogspot.com/ We met in Ventura at Garden Memories. http://www.gardenmemoriesgifts.com/

You see, Martha sells her lovely handmade charms at the same shop that sells my boxes, hats, crowns, etc. Martha lives much farther from Ventura than I do, so she doesn't get to the shop very often. We planned to meet there, and I am so glad we did. I showed the charms she made for my daughter, and I a few posts ago. She is so talented, pretty and nice. Martha hasn't had her blog too long, so if you haven't visited her please do. You will love it. I had a pretty good week, considering that I met Jamie of Simply Me Art on Tuesday, and Martha on Saturday.

This is a shot of Martha's charms in the case with my boxes. We think they go well together.
As you can see, we were having some fun playing in Barbara's beautiful shop. Girls have to play!!

At the top of my post is a really nice award that Martha received, and was nice enough to pass on, to me. I in turn will pass it on to, Ashley of http://thedraperhouse.blogspot.com/ and Liz of http://mabelshouse.blogspot.com/ They both are fabulous writers, and if you haven't visited their blogs before, please do. You will be glad you did.

Thanks Martha, it was so nice meeting you. Let's meet again soon!

Have a great Tuesday!

Love,

Rosemary

I like that you're modeling one of your crowns, Rosemary. Letting out your inner Glinda the Good Witch, eh? :) It sounds like you had a nice day, and it's wonderful you're able to meet others with such complementary styles.

Hope you have a terrific week! -Jenn

Hi Rosemary, So happy to have discovered your blog. I lived in California for most of my life but am now living in Virginia. I told my sister, who lives in Simi Valley, about you and your lovely creations and referred her to Garden Memories. She visited the shop this past weekend...I'm so jealous. (She's sending me a picture of herself and the owner.) Anyway, she loved your creations too and enjoyed her shopping trip. Have a great week.

Hi Rosemary!

Thanks for voting in the Limerick Contest. No, you were not late in voting. I am tickled that both you and Cielo voted for Debbie because she is a non-blogger—but a very enthusiastic supporter and friend. She will love it!

I enjoyed meeting Martha! I have stepped on over to her blog and I will be visiting her website.

Have a great evening!
