Christmas Already?
Hi all! Hope you are having a nice week.
I saw my first Christmas commercial last night. Can't they wait until my favorite fall holidays are over? Guess not! I love Halloween, and Thanksgiving of course. I hate the way they just skip right over Thanksgiving. Not a thing I can do about it, just thought I would vent for a second.
Anyway, this birdcage is my purchase from the Rose Bowl this past Sunday. We were having a mini heatwave, and it was one of my only purchases that day. I was just too hot to enjoy it. I did have a frozen lemonade that was refreshing and delicious.
Not sure yet what I am going to do with this cage, but probably not using it for a bird. I will have to incorporate it into my decorating some way. Maybe Christmas decorating. Speaking of Christmas, I already had a request for a Christmas crown, and this is what I came up with. So I guess I'm technically in Christmas mode in October.
Now, back to Halloween, I'm in the mood for some scary fun so next week I'm going on a ghost tour. I will tell you all about it after.
I hope you are planning a fun weekend!!
Talk to you after my tour!!
Love,
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,
I love your Christmas angel!
I'm one of those people that get scared at Halloween so I guess I would prefer to skip right over it!
Although...I do have a few Halloween posts planned for the coming weeks!
Take care! :)
I adore this birdcage....but of course, I am obsessed with them. This looks like an old Hendrix? I do skip over Halloween....right into Thanksgiving...refuse to put any Christmas up until the day after...but silly me...I'm in the minority there for sure. If you get a chance...come over and enter my giveaway...haven't done one in a year, so I thought it was time....not enough of them out there...LOL

A girl can never have to many birdcages! LOL. I'm sure it will look wonderful after you put your magic touch on it.
Love the Christmas crown. So pretty.

Hey Rosemary,
That birdcage is darling, I know you'll do something wonderful with it, decorate it to bits!
I'm with you, no Christmas before Halloween. Love the crown though.
Have fun on your ghost hunt, I know I'm planning to on mine ;)

ROSEMARY!!!! Oh dearest, I am so tired, but seeing comments on my blog, ESPECIALLY FROM "old" friends like YOU brighten me up! School is ridiculousy BUSY and is wearing us all out, even the most professional and veteran teachers. Education in America, if I can say it here, STINKS! The children get bits and pieces due to the schedules, the teachers get worn out trying to do EVERYTHING to save money....oops! I am on a rant here! YIKES! All that to say that it is a JOY to see your creativity once again and THAT CROWN.....oh, I just love two that I have from you...i will always treasure them as I do you....THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS! Anita
I'm with you Rosemary, and wish they would wait on Christmas. Love how your crown turned out, and the little angel is so cute. I sent your goodies yesterday, so you should get them in a few days. Have a great weekend! Martha
Hi Rosemary,
It does seem to be early for Christmas, but really it is not that far away now.
Love the sweet Christmas crown and the birdcage, look forward to see what you do with it.
Happy weekend
Hugs

Awesome Christmas crown! Your bird house is great too. It would be perfect to decorate for Christmas or any of the holidays for that matter:) Can't wait to hear about your haunted walk.
