Little Corners Of My Yard

I thought you might like a glimpse into the corners of my yard.

I'm sure you know by now, that I love decorating with flea market and garage sale finds. The yard is no exception.

The cute little garden gate came from, where else, the Ventura Flea Market.
It leads down a path to my Secret Garden.

The cute green shutter also came from the Ventura Flea Market.

This tree, is a curly willow that we only planted last May. I love the curly willow. It will eventually grow like a tunnel that you can walk through.

I had to show you, my shabby old chair that I got from one of my walks around the neighborhood. (Someone was actually throwing it out).

Last year we planted this grapevine, and now it has the biggest grape leaf that I have ever seen.

I hope you enjoy seeing a little part of my yard. I love just walking around, or sitting and reading a favorite magazine, and sipping iced tea.
We will be out there on Sunday, having Father's Day brunch.

Have a great afternoon!

Hi Rosemary! I loved my walk around your yard. That curly willow is wonderful! The little chair looks great!

I've been in and out of the blogging world this week. Trying to catch up, now!

Happy Happy Birthday!!

Your hydrangeas are gorgeous. Our Endless Summers were knocked back by that bad frost a couple months ago. They're pretty and green, but not one single bloom or bud!

Hey, Rosemary
Me again...glad you liked my post. This article referenced the Spadena House and Carmel...it was a great article!

I wanted to write and tell you congratulations on your daughter's wedding! Also, if she's going to do pumpkins, check out that book I mentioned last week...The Candlelit Home. He shows some amazing white pumpkins made to look like Cinderella's coach.

Have a great weekend!

Loved the tour of your yard! I picked up an old chair curbside too, but it has finally seen the end...LOL. The vintage treasures you have added to your garden give it a nice personal touch.

I totally would have picked up that cute chair, too!

Your garden and yard is so pretty, you should give tours.
I love your stone patio. What do you have planted in between the flat stones?

I love your weathered wooden finds (fence, shutter) - what a lovely texture they add to your garden.

Thank you for the inspiration (and believe me - my garden could use a shot of inspiration right about now....)

Rosemary, your yard is so pretty! I really like all of the great flea market and garage sale finds - especially your little chair. The gate is so cute too - makes me really want to walk through it and see your secret garden. The patio reminds me of ours. I bet you'll have a great time outside having brunch!
