Fun at the Flea Market

Hi all!
Well, yesterday was Flea Market day in Ventura.
Here are some of my great little finds!!
I bought this great green shelf from my friend Karen.
As you can see, I found some great things for my artwork

As mentioned in one of my previous posts, Isabella Crane needed something to wear.
Manuela of The Feathered Nest said"how about a pink tutu??
Much to my amazement, the first thing I found was a pink tutu for $10.00. Now Isabella's ensemble is complete.

I took some pictures for you, at Jennifer Grey's booth. (The Old Painted Cottage)
Check out her website for the new Cottage of the Month, it's really cute. And for those of you who don't know, my house was last September's 2006 Cottage of the Month. If you want to see my house.

I also went to some great local garage sales on Saturday, and hit the jackpot!!
I got a hutch for only $10.00. (I will be redoing it for a future blog post)

I hope you are all having a great Monday!! It is very quiet here this morning. My husband Mark had to go back to work today, after a long week off. Now I have to get back to work in the house. I am behind, but we had a fun week together!

That looks like some fun shopping! When I saw Isabella Crane, I thought you'd found another dress form...jealousy! Had no idea you were Cottage of The Month last September...I love that site and that feature. I'm going now to look, and I'm sure it will be gorgeous!

What a great flea market - and what a perfect tutu for your dress form.

You have a lovely home (I peaked at the Cottage of the Month site) - I especially like the white room with the red accents. Very pretty!

I love Isabella's tutu!

I wish we had some great flea markets like ya'll do. When some of my kiddos were in CA last fall, they went to the flea markets. My granddaughter called from one to tell me they were the best ever and I would love 'em!

Ah, Isabella's tutu is just perfect for her.
And thank you for showing the pics of Jennifer's booth. How I would love to shop there!

I think your Isabella is a little slimmer than my Mabel. I put a lacy pinafore on her and it just was not becomming!! Isabella looks just perfect.

You have the best flea markets out there in CA. I want to come antiquing with you!!

Leave it to Manuela to suggest the tutu, looks marvelous! I also borrowed Manuela's plate borders for my garden, she's a wealth of information isn't she.
I am so envious of that Ventura Flea Market. You are such a lucky girl to have it so close. I'd love to shop Jennifer's booth! I did just win a pink table from her on Ebay and I love it!
Did I know that u were a Cottage of the Month??? I just checked, your house is beautiful, so YOU! Had I mentioned that I was the 1st Shabby Cottage-Feb.06 I think.
I luv ya girlfriend!

Hi Rosemary,

Jennifer here. Thanks sweetie for posting pictures of my booth at the flea market. I always bring my camera but then forget to take photos of my booth. And by the time I do remember, half the stuff is sold & gone. Loved seeing you there and I'm totally jealous of your finds! By the way, is that a tiara Miss Crane is wearing around her neck?

It looks sooo fun!! I bet you had a great time. Antiquing is probably my top favorite thing to do. It's so fun, the anticipation of what you might find.
