Saturday part 2 Ducks and a package from Sadie Olive!

Look what happened after my Paris Flea Market post.
A mommy duck and her babies were walking down my street. My husband was calling for me to hurry outside, and he ran in and got the camera. They were going by so fast that I had to follow them to some neighbors houses. I think I counted 8 babies, but when they are grouped together like that they are hard to count.
Wow dolphin and ducks all in the same day!!

Then while I was outside, I got a package delivered from Sadie Olive. I ordered these metal containers, I think on Thursday. Sara sent them lightening fast!!

They are really cute. I am going to use them to keep my lotions etc. in my bathroom.
She sent me a lovely note with some extra little goodies inside. She is so sweet, and her online shop has some really beautiful items.
Thanks Sadie Olive!!!!

So it was a very fun, and exciting day.
I hope good things are happening to all of you out in blogland!!!

What is the name of that story about the ducks who cross the street, and live in a pond at the park?

Seeing your photo reminded me of it...what is the name of that book?

Aaaaawwwww...how sweet!

I really like those little metal buckets!
They remind me of the galvanized containers my husband uses for drywall mud.
I told him I was going to steal a couple and use them as planters. LOL

Hello Rosemary,
I love your containers!!!!! And I love to look at ducks from a far. I was actually bitten by a duck, on my index finger, as a child. It was a major drama. I was with my mother and brother at the park and we were feeding the ducks. The duck I was feeding was a little over zealous and bit my finger!!! I guess there was a lot of blood, and my mother had to take me to the hospital. One funny part of that story, Mom didn’t know for sure if ducks carried rabies, so she was trying to memorize the duck in case she had to point him out to the authorities! Ha!!!! I still have the scar and the trauma to prove it!!! (Wow! the more I blog and Comment on other blogs, the more I realized that either I have had a pretty interesting life so far, or I am just a big OL” freak! HeHe!
I hope that you have a safe and wonderful Memorial Day!!!

Hi, Rosemary, just checking in with you too! Love the duck & babies pics...just precious. We saw some dolphins frolicking in the sea while we were at the beach on day, they were so cute.

Love your things from Sadie Olive too!

Very cute ducks. Our village has a pond with ducks and sometimes they cross a fairly busy road and all traffic stops for them!

Hi,
Your new tins are VERY nice!
I see we are not the only couple who love the baby geese and ducks! I counted 26 between two geese a few weeks back!!! I do not know if they were babysitting, all their own or if adopted?
They were cute just like your baby ducks!
