Back From The Flea Market!!
Hi all, and happy Sunday!!
It was a great day at the Ventura Flea Market!
The weather was perfect, not too warm, not too cool.
There were more sellers, with great stuff, then usual.
As you can see from the pictures, I found some pretty fun things. A cute wire baby buggy, for a certain baby shower, vintage baby shoes that I am going to embellish, for upcoming baby shower. One pair of the shoes given to me by my friend Jennifer Grey of the Old Painted Cottage. Very sweet Jen, thank you. The cute pillow shams I purchased from Jennifer. A vintage looking tee shirt, from the tee shirt guy. Very cute, and brand new. Lots of vintage sheet music, 1950's rhinestone earrings, a garden sign for only $1. Big burlap sacks that I will use for pillows or seat covers. A tiara for me queen of something. Not sure what. Oh, the old Eiffel tower photo, from 1901. My sweet husband purchased for me. Thank you honey!
I also found a beautiful set of vintage cut glass drinking glasses, already in the dishwasher. All in all, a great flea market day. I visited with several friends, found fun stuff, and spent the day with my husband.
Hope you all had a great day too!
Chat soon.
Love,
Rosemary

Great finds Rosemary! Is this the one at the fairgrounds? When is it held? I remember getting some cool metal patio furniture there from an old hotel. Have a happy Sunday!
Take care,
Martha

What fun things you got. One of my dreams is to go to one of the many flea markets in California. Are they as great as they look???Ah la Rachel Ashwell??? Boy I miss her show...as many do too I'm sure.
Thanks for sharing your great day with us all.

Being part magpie, my eyes are glued to the sparkly earrings!

Hi Rosemary!
Thanks for visiting me! I just realized that for many bloggers, even though they have a love to write, may not take to writing a scene for a play! Oh well, I will see if I get any submissions. I do have one which is lovely, but I want a little competition! You are sweet to visit. Hey, I don't want you to forget that I want a chicken wire crown! I will let you know soon about when I can make the purchase. Keep on making them! Blessings, Anita

Hi,
It's Jean. I left Amanda a comment and just wanted to know if you got this one. I tried a dozen times and finally success.
Gorgous finds!!!!
Gorgeous vintage treasures! It sounds like a great flea market to visit...hmmm a bit far for me to travel from England though!
The little baby pram is adorable!
looks like you found some GOOD stuff at Ventura. I have never been to that Flea market. Would it be worth the drive from OC?
I can't wait to see what you will do with your finds. I'm sure that it will be something gorgeous!
