Old stocking and Awards!

Hope you are all having a wonderful Christmassy kind of day.

I recently spoke about my Christmas stocking that I have had since, OK here goes 1956. I still use it every Christmas, although Santa has a hard time stuffing it, because stockings use to be smaller.

I had to add the picture of my husband Mark and I, at our daughter's wedding a couple of months ago. Well after showing the old stocking, I had to feel better about being born in 1956. ( I hear you all doing the math).

Now the cat is out of the bag, it's only a number.

Manuela from, The Feathered Nest, and Rhoda, from Southern Hospitality passed these awards on to me, and I am passing them along to Jamie,
from Simply Me Art, and Liz from Mabel's House.

Not exactly sure what these awards are about, but they are fun!!!

So I hope you enjoy my tattered little angel stocking, as I still do. Now it is Shabby Chic, isn't it?

Have a great day!
Rosemary

You look great for 31! I was born in 1954 and I'm 33. That makes you 31, right? Seriously, you do look much younger than the year suggests. Love the stocking!

How sweet that you still have your stocking! Santa never did stockings at our house but I do for our kids even though they are 20,28 & 29!

Rosemary you are right...its only a number! You are as young as you feel!
You & hubby look GREAT!

Have a blessed Christmas,
Hugz, Dolly

Rosemary, what a great photo of you and DH! (My DH is a '56 baby, too! :) You are beautiful! I also loved seeing your sweet stocking! I think that's a lovely tradition.

You were quicker than I was today! :) I did my post, and then DS decided that we had to run errands, so I was going to leave notes about the awards tonight. I always love visiting here!

Love, Andrea

Love the stocking, and the best things come in very small packages. Easy to stuff into that stocking. Have a good one.

Sweet stocking! I wasn't sure about the awards either but I like the idea of being Bodacious (it's such a fun word)!

Sweetie, I will catch up with you after Christmas. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
