More Views of Christmas!!

Hi all!!!
Hope you are all having a great weekend!!
It's cold and Christmasy today, so I thought you might like to see more of my Christmas decor.

I just got these snowy owls. I thought they were really cute for my kitchen tree.
Enjoy all of the pictures!
Be sure to stop by Jennifer Grey's site today. http://www.theoldpaintedcottage.com/ She has the winner of Christmas Cottage decorating contest, which is also the December cottage of the month. Congrats to Pat from Back Porch Musings!!!! Pat's house is amazing! There is also a really great slide show of the runners up.
I have been working on more glittering crafts today, so if anyone out there knows a great way to clean glitter off of counters, and floors please let me know the secret.
Have a great Saturday night and Sunday!!
Rosemary

Leave the glitter darlin, it's a decorating accessory!
Goes great with anything! :-)

Love all your christmas treasures! I'd love a closer look at your snow houses! I have been making some and can't seem to get enough of them this year!

Hi Rosemary, your decorating is wonderful! The little snowman under glass is darling and I love the owls. As for the glitter, I love it. It's just part of the magic of the season...just enjoy it:). Linda

I love everything, but Santa's boot on the pedestal is perfect! How clever!

Your decorations are fabulous! Each picture was better than the one before it. I have been known to use a lint roller (made of rolled tape) to get the glitter. But...you could just leave it and say that you went to that much detail, even decorating the counters and floors!

Love,
Julie

Love the red santa boot!

I just love the boot. The way you decorate is so unique, so your own. It is refreshing to see people decorate thier homes in thier own way, instead of buying everything from Pier One or Pottery Barn. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love all your little bitty houses. I have a larger village, but can never quite seem to find the right place for it.

I have a red boot out for decorating also, it is a cowboy boot of Belle's; she does not really like them so I swiped it for decor!Hehe! I love all of your decorations! I hope that you have a great week!

Rosemary your home is looking very Christmassy! I love the long wooden bowl vignette!!

Thank you for mentioning our home. We've finished the decorating for this year! May do even less next year. Will have to see what we shall see.

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pretty Christmas goodies!

The little snowman under the cloche is just darling! Everything looks lovely!

The homes in that slide show were just amazing - I don't know how she managed to narrow it down!

Rosemary, everything looks so beautiful....you always have the touch! I am always so inspired by the beautiful things you do.

BTW, when I was looking at Pat's home on the Cottage of the Month site, I noticed that your home was featured, and also your Halloween decorations. It was so fun seeing all of the beautiful photos---you have a lovely home! Hopefully next year I will be able to share some of my Halloween things with you. :)

Hi Rosemary!! Yes, isn't the COTM for December just gorgeous!? Jen had quite the difficult task to pick who the winner was as there were sooooo many pretty homes to choose from. Pat's home is so elegant.

Your Christmas decor is so adorable and I love the pot that you have the last tree photo'd in (with those wonderful owls). I like how you incorporate nature with vintage. Tooooo cute!

You asked about how to find things on eBay. Well, depending on if you are looking for a particular item .. for example vintage clock with rhinestones...you would just enter those same words in "search." You can also do advanced search and look for a seller's name, ie: Cottage*Dreams is us and you'd just enter our name. I hope this helps.

You have been a busy lady! Glitter...
Grace's secret ingredient in everything she makes. I think I am still finding some from her holiday gifts 3 years ago!

I hope your week is going well!!
