Happy Thursday!
Hi all, and Happy Thursday!! One day closer to the weekend. This week is flying by.
Here are a few pictures of what I have been working on, plus my pretty hydrangeas!!
Remember my chair that got covered with a drop cloth? Well, here is a lamp I covered with some leftover fabric. I think it's cool!!
My friend at the shop Sticks N Stones asked me to cover a lampshade using of all things this open weave burlap. It's normally used around bottoms of trees and shrubs, and for gardening purposes. It comes in a roll from the hardware store. So I tried it and I think I like the results.
Who knows what else you can use it for, but I like repurposing, don't you?
Here is a little tease about next week, a giveaway is in the works, as well as some other surprises, so stay tuned.
Enjoy your day!!
Chat again soon.
Love,
Rosemary
PS, forgot to mention, 2 tiered cupcake cake box was a special order for the cupcakery this week.

Hi Rosemary,
just found your blog while doing some blog hopping. strange enough I could have some spare time on my hands after such a long time.
so glad I found you and could so admire what you could do with your lamp shades. great job. look so shabby chic and charming. Guess Anita is right: you turn to gold all you touch. scrolled down your older posts and found it absolutely amazing what you could do with lamp shades. Bravo!
have a great weekend

Love the hydrangeas, the lampshade is cute too in the burlap....Maryanne :)
Hi Rosemary,
Yes I do know Diane. I have 2 booths at Agoura Antique mart, just 2 doors down. I do the decorating at Agoura with maria, the owner and Lu from Dustylu. I will come and visit your blog again... and again, and again!
I saw those lampshades in Diane's and loved them. It's hard coming up with original ideas for lampshades, and those are the best looking ones I've seen lately!
