Getting Ready For The 4TH

Hi all!
Hope you had a great weekend.
I was busy as usual. We had a baby nursery painting marathon yesterday at my daughter's house. My son in law and I painted, my husband cut and put up chair rail, and my daughter cooked us a delicious dinner. It took the entire day, and of course it was the hottest day so far. I am hosting 4TH of July at my house this Saturday, so I am starting to decorate little by little. Thought you might like to see some of the decorations so far. Have lots more to go. Lots of shopping and cooking as well.

Are You Sick Of Crowns Yet?

Hi all!
I guess I'm not sick of crowns yet, and thank goodness since it's all I have been up to lately. Lots of orders and fun creations. I never know what I might come up with next. That is the fun of it. Maybe someday I will have a chance to make some for my Etsy shop, but not yet. My intention is to have the time to put some in my shop, but all the other shops, and special orders take precedent.
In between crown making I make baby shower decorations, at night while I am sitting watching some TV. It's all my fault for seeing a baby shower extravaganza in a magazine. I said to myself, I could do that, and I am, but it's slow going. Good thing that the baby shower isn't until August.

Still Busy!

Hi all!
Just wanted to do a quick post today. I am still working away on my creations.
Hope you are having a great week so far. I hear it's rainy in the east. It's cloudy here today. Nice for the morning walk. Not exactly beach weather though.
Still working on my daughter's baby shower. Can't wait for that so I can show you the pictures. It's not until August. Nice and hot!!

This weekend we will be painting her nursery. She chose blue, brown and tan. A great combo for a boy baby!

Hooray For The Red White and Blue!

These are what I came up with. They were really fun to create. I love vintage, and vintage style 4th of July decorations.
I will be getting my 4th of July box down, and decorating my house with my red, white and blue very soon. I will try to post some pictures when I do.

Please Excuse Rosemary For Being Absent!

Hi all!!
Hope you had a nice week. I have been up to my ears in glitter and crowns.
I got a big bunch of orders all at once. Isn't that always the way?
It's fun, but very hectic. I also got my crowns into another new shop, so needless to say I have been one busy bee!
I am also having Father's Day breakfast/brunch at my house, I am still working on my daughter Amanda's upcoming baby shower,and I am doing a garage sale with my daughter at her house this Saturday. Other than that, I have nothing to do. At least the weather is finally better. Less June gloom and more sun.

Testing

Hi there,
Just doing a test of my newly purchased as of 10am this morning, camera.
It has taken most of my day so far to buy and figure this all out.
I am still playing around with this thing, and it took me awhile to figure out the software etc. I think I will like it once I get the hang of it. My second Kodak died this morning so I got a Nikon Coolpix. We shall see.
Hope you are having a better day than I am. I need to get back to work on crown making. Have lots to do.

Technical Difficulties (A Winner!)

Good Morning!
As you can see no pictures this morning.
My husband did choose a winner from my highly scientific method of picking out a winner. Folded papers with your names, in a pretty glass bowl.
He did chose Carole-Maynard Greenhouse, as the winner of my birthday giveaway.
So Carole please email me with your address!!! I will ship out your little crown.
Now I am off to go and buy a new camera, as mine has died!!!

Crown Day!

Hi all!
It is show your crown day, being hosted by Vintage Bella Studio. I found out about it through my friend Anita. I decided to show some of my crown collection that I did not make with the exception of the tiny screen crown. I did make that one. My friend Holly sent me the sweet flower you see. I added a crystal and magic, a crown.

I Won!

Hi there!
Hope you are all having a great week so far.
My husband and I went to a fundraiser Sunday night for Pepperdine University. We go every year. It's for the Arts program for underprivileged kids. It's fun, and it's in Malibu! It was a lovely night of great people, good food and drink, silent and live auctions etc. Anyway, underneath my plate/charger was a card that said,
congratulations you won this lovely floral centerpiece. I was very excited, first because the flowers were so pretty, and second, I never win stuff.
I took these pictures so you could also enjoy the flowers.
We also won a great big basket full of baby goodies for our daughter and son in law.

I don't know if any of you know who Steve Tyrell is, but he was the entertainment for the evening. He is a crooner extraordinaire! Check out his music.
