2 New Halloween Decorations

I have two new additions to my Halloween decorations. This giant jack-o-lantern is from my friend Heidi. She knows that I love decorating for Halloween. She found this big guy at Home Goods. She got one for me, and one for herself. I think he might be adorning my porch area. You can't tell, but he is made of metal, and the top comes off. I guess you could even put a plant inside. Thanks Heidi!!!

Today my husband Mark, and I took a drive to Ventura, thinking we could beat the heat a little bit. (Closer to the beach) Well, it was a little bit cooler by a few degrees. I stopped in to see my friend Barbara at Garden Memories, and look what she just got in.

Isn't this the cutest Halloween owl? He has perched himself on top of this pumpkin. I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but it is all sparkly with glitter. How could I resist? (Click on pictures to enlarge)

So, this is a prelude to my next blog post, because tomorrow is the day I will be taking out all of my Halloween decorations. If you want to see more cute decorations today, you should visit Sara's blog, at Sadie Olive, http://sadieolive.typepad.com/

Looking forward to sharing my Halloween Extravaganza!!

Have a great rest of the weekend, and Happy Labor Day!

Love your pumpkin. :) I found a big pumpkin last year at Target and it was 50% off. It's one of my favorites. The bargain ones are always the most fun to find.

Thanks for the blog nod. :) Can't wait to see all of your goodies.
