Tussie Mussie Swap

Here is a glimpse of the tussie mussie, that I am making for the swap.
It's almost done, and ready to ship off to Texas. I hope my swap partner likes it.

Tussie mussies are fun to make. I was already in practice, from working on them for my daughter's wedding shower. This one is a bit bigger. It's a funny thing, that my partner in the swap (Carrie) likes browns and blues. Those are the same colors of the wedding shower.

I will show you the finished product, before I ship it away. I am filling it with lots of pretties.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Beautiful! I love the sheet music as the base!

They would be great for a wedding shower. I haven't organized a shower in a long time. I'll have to keep that in mind for the next one.

Hi, Rosemary... Thanks for your post on my blog. Glad to hear that your are a VC gal! I was born in Long Beach and this is my first time back in the OC in years.

I noticed you like "French Women Don't Get Fat"! I love that book and even have the audio version, too, so that I can hear her French accent.

Your tussie mussie is beautiful! I was just talking with a shop owner today about the fashionable brown and blue trend. I love powder blue or aqua with chocolate combos. My daughter is 20 and seems pretty serious about her guy. I could be making something like this soon...

That is a beautiful Tussie Mussie. I'm sure your swap partner will love it!

You had asked me if I lived anywhere near Hawley, PA, but I'm not sure if I've ever heard of it. Is it in Eastern or Western PA? I'm in Western PA. Sorry it took me so long to respond to your question.

Your tussie is such a pretty combo. And the crackled frame it is hanging on is great.

I didn't sign up for this swap, wish I had!
