Hi Rosemary! What a great idea and a charming nest you made with this old silver ice bucket! I found an ice bucket at the church fair this morning as well but it wasn't nearly as pretty....mine is from the 50's with faux leather....pleather, I guess you would say....not sure what I will do with it! Anyway, thanks for your kind words and stopping by...have a wonderful evening!
Be well, Laura

The "nesting" tag above the little birdie is just the perfect touch. Sure is pretty.

Bonjour mon amie! Well I think you made a wise choice to change views and go out to SHOP! And what better place to go to than an outdoor sale. Yesterday, I went to Bryn Mawr, a little portion of Minneapolis where the entire community came out for a huge garage sale! All the little cottages (they are true gems of our city) were selling their wares. People with their kids, dogs and cuppa joes were mingling, haggling and buying under a warm May sun. I bought some vintage goodies from my friend Julie and had a blast. your ivy is just gorgeous and the bucket...perfect!

You should see the doll head I bought; if one of your crowns fits her, she will be dubbed a queen next weekend when I sit down to give her some hair!!

Bisous, Anita
