Isn't It Romantic?

Hope you are all having a nice Tuesday evening!!

It seems like only yesterday we were packing away our Christmas. Now the next holiday is on the horizon. Here are a few views of my Valentine decorating.
I picked up this crepe paper heart at the Rose Bowl for .50cents.

Don't you just love all things romantic?
Red heart plate came from Home goods. I like it next to my little red chair.

This is the valance in my kitchen. I constantly change it for the seasons, or holidays.

I got this cupid asleep photo last year on Ebay!!
This cute Victorian Valentine is so pretty. It opens up to reveal the red cupids. The crepe paper is still in tact. Amazing!! It also came from the Rose Bowl Flea Market.

I have this little mouse, and depending on the holiday, he is always holding something different.

Words are a favorite of mine.
I like to decorate about now, so I can enjoy it for a little while. (St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner)

Are you decorating for Valentine's Day yet?

Well, I better get back to work. I am creating some party hats this week, for my friend Barbara.
I am also making another crown or two. I will let you know how they turn out.
Have a great night!!

Love,
Rosemary

Whew, I'm worn out catching up with you! You've been so busy. All your new goodies are fabulous, and so pretty.

As always, I loved tagging along with you at the flea market looking at antiques, valentines and anything else.

The old Valentines are so much fun aren't they? Love them.

Your blog is the first one of the ones I visit that has started with the Valentine decorations.

I'm starting this weekend. I've been looking at some things at JoAnn's and Michael's. I found a really big intricately cut glittery heart in the $1 bin at Target.

I'm putting up my twig tree with hearts, a wreath on my door, and scattering some hearts around. I'll, also, get some roses for the dining room table.

Love it all, I'm not quite ready to decorate for VD yet, but I will. I need to get to a home goods store soon. I have to travel 2 hrs though and I try to limit my visits to the DFW area to one per month.

Hi Rosemary, I wasn't going to do much for Valentine's day. I left the red and white checked ribbon tied stars on the breakfast room light and the red berries and shades and that was going to be it. Well I was at Home Goods yesterday and bought 4 read placemats. They are quilted and a sort of round/petal shape. So now, I think I'll set the dining room table in red and white. I bet I can find lots of things around the house to make the table ready for Valentines Day.

I love what you are doing! Looks beautiful!
