New Garage Sale Find!

Hi all!
Went out on Saturday morning garage sales with my daughter.
This is my new find. It's what I like to call a sideboard/dresser. It was perfect just the way it was, and I didn't have to do a thing to it except clean it and line the drawers.
I'm using it in my dining room to store table clothes, napkins etc. I love the look and it's something new to me. I had a big white bookcase in this spot before and I was tired of that look. I really didn't know that I was tired of it until I found this piece. You know how that goes.
As usual I always give you the prices of my garage sale finds. The lady wanted $50 and I got it for $40. Pretty good for such a nice piece.

A Vintage Wedding!

Hi all!
Here is why I have been so busy lately. I was working on this amazing vintage wedding.
The bride and groom were lovely to work with, so sweet and in love.
Mary knew exactly what look she wanted to achieve and with help from me and others she got the wedding she was hoping for.
I made a lot of the pieces that you see in photos, but not until it's all put together do you see what the ideas really look like.
The venue was beautiful, the cupcakes from the Cupcakery Bakery were delicious and pretty!!
As you can see in the photos, everything was just beautiful!! The bride and groom were very happy!!
I was so glad to be asked to make these things happen and can't wait to do another wedding.
They are now off on a happy honeymoon!!

Recent Flea Market Finds

Hi all!!
Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!!
I wanted to do a quick post on my garden flea market finds.
I found this old galvanized bucket, old weather vane, and this cool wagon all at the same local flea market. Ventura to be exact!
I know you love prices so here goes. Bucket $10, weather vane $20, and wagon $25. I decided to plant some lavender and there you have it. Pretty and unique garden decor on a flea market budget!!
Still working away on projects here.

Late Easter Pics

Hi all!
Hope you all had a very Happy Easter!
I have been so busy with no time to blog lately.
I wanted to show you some cute Easter pics of not so Baby Jake looking for Easter eggs last Sunday. He had such fun finding the eggs. Now I think he might look for eggs whenever he is in my backyard. We all know how fun that is.
He is such a big boy. He is running and talking and so smart for his age.
Don't I sound like the proud Gran?
Can't believe he will be turning 2 in September.
I'm off to Nipomo this Sat for the Remnants of the Past show. This time I will try to get plenty of pictures. Google Remnants of the Past show in Nipomo and watch the video. You will love it!
