Guess What??

Hi all!
Sorry I haven't had time to visit this week, but I was busy opening my new Etsy store. It's something I have wanted to do for quite awhile now.
If you notice on my sidebar I have a cute button to go straight to my Etsy. My button and Etsy banner were made by the talented Amber of Shabee Chick Designs.
I named my shop The Vintage Crown. It will have many of my creations, crowns, boxes, tags, wands, cones, and lots of magical, whimsical goodies.
It took me awhile to figure it all out, since I am not a computer genius. Just and artist. You know right brained and all of that.
I will be listing many more items soon. I just had to get at least one thing on there to start it out.
I will let you know when I get more listed.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Rosemary

Thanksgiving Is On The Way!!

I hope you all had a great weekend!
I have been decorating for Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving, and I don't like to skip over the opportunity to decorate. I know most stores go right into Christmas after Halloween. We shouldn't overlook the pretty Thanksgiving decor.
I am off to a busy week. I will try and check in with you periodically.
Have a great week!
Chat soon!
Love,
Rosemary
PS, the picture of the pretty slipper/shoe with the leaves tucked inside, came from Heather Bullard. I purchased it from the soiree, last Sunday. http://heatherbullard.typepad.com/

Hello all!!

I have started making some winter, and holiday crowns.
Just thought you might like to see what I have been up to so far. I have also been busy making holiday boxes and tags. So I guess you could say, let the holidays begin!!
In the midst of this holiday stuff, I have also started working on a little kitchen remodel. I'm sure I will have pictures of that soon.

A Parisian Soiree!!

Yesterday I attended A Parisian Holiday Soiree, hosted by the lovely and talented Heather Bullard. It was a beautiful afternoon. Heather worked tirelessly to put on a wonderful affair. Her wonderful family was there to help! It was so great to meet Heather.
I attended with my friend Jamie of Simply Me Art!! We left from Jamie's home, and chatted the whole hour and 1/2 there and back.
The soiree was held at the Beautiful Mission Inn in Riverside California. I had always heard about this place, but had never been.
There was pretty eye candy everywhere you looked. We had such fun, shopping, eating sweet treats, and doing a couple of crafts with Heather. Heather also had a vintage Christmas wrap demo, and a question and answer time with 2 lovely Editors from Somerset. There were many wonderful door prizes as well!!!
I got to meet Jill of Bailiwick Designs. I have been following her blog for along time now. We had a chance to visit the whole afternoon.
I only had time for a few photos as you can see.
A fun time was had by all.
Thank you Heather!!!

Rosemary

Just Go Blogapalooza!

Today is Blogapalooza Day at Just Go http://aknickerson.blogspot.com/
It's a fun party for Halloween!! We are suppose to tell a scary travel story.
I don't travel that much, but this is a cemetery we visited in Half Moon Bay. We took many photos, and did not see a single soul in that quiet place. When we got home and had the photo enlarged, it showed a person behind, and to the side of one of the headstones. A ghost? Perhaps!! You can click to enlarge photo.
I added a couple of photos of the largest pumpkin I have ever seen.
If you scroll down a couple of posts you will also see some ghostly orbs from my visit to the Moss Beach Distillery.
So Just go and visit all of the blogs participating in the blogapalooza today.
Enjoy!
Love,
Rosemary

What I Did Over The Weekend!!

Hello all!!
Hope you had a great weekend.
This is why I had no time to visit your blogs this weekend.
I was busy making my Cinderella coach pumpkin. I got the idea from the Hallmark Magazine. I think it turned out really cute!! I had help from my husband Mark. I could barely lift that pumpkin myself.
The other thing was helping my daughter put in her Halloween graveyard. We spent most of yesterday working on this project. She has been collecting things for this for the last year. Most bought at garage sales, and some online. It took a lot longer than we had expected. (Doesn't it always) She will be adding a coffin, and lighting on Halloween night. She loves Halloween, and was not able to be here for it last year. She was on her honeymoon in Italy (Boo Hoo)
She had her first anniversary yesterday, which we spent in the graveyard!!
She will be handing out candy, and having a Halloween Party this Friday!!
Can't wait!!
I will try to get more photos for you on Halloween night.
Enjoy your Monday!
Love,
Rosemary
