Lampshades R US

Hi all!
Here it is Sunday, and I haven't blogged since last Sunday. Too busy making lampshades I guess. It takes some time but the results are worth it.
Just dropped these off at Sticks N Stones today.
I hope you are all having a nice weekend, and have a great week ahead. I can't believe I'm working on Halloween stuff. Where has the summer gone? I was in Michael's today, and not only was Fall/Halloween all over the store, so was Christmas. Crazy!
I'm also working on stuff for Baby Jake's first birthday party, coming up in September. That was such a fast year. I guess time flies when you are having fun.
Well, I just took a little break to post this, so it's back to work for me.
Chat again soon.
Love,
Rosemary

Hi Rosemary,
Crossed paths with your shadow again this weekend....I went to Diana's Driveway sale this saturday. I didn't know , when I went, that DIana was the owner of Sticks and Stones. However, I found out when after picking out some things to buy, I spotted a basket full of blue crepe paper favor cups. I asked Diana if I could just buy one, I thought they were SO adorable. She told me they were made by her friend Rosemary!! I told her you were my Blog friend, but that I had never met you......and that we seem to haunt many of the same places. Hopefully, one of these days I'll meet you in person. Until then, I will remain an admirer of your beautiful creations.
I love the lampshades. They most likely are amazing when lit up.
And I love my little blue favor cup.
Have great week.

Hi Rosemary,
The lampshades are beautiful and the crowns too. I agree, this year has gone by so fast! I know Baby Jake's party will be over the top wonderful and will be looking forward to many, many photos. Oh how fun the planning!! I need to chat w/you about a special order crown "13" or should it be "31"... or both (of course, in your spare time ;)

I too ADORE your lampshades & would love to try & make one as I have one torn old shade at the shop begging to be made back into a diamond. My biggest question for you is how do you attach the fabric to the frame? Sew, glue or wrap or a little of all of the above! LOL
Your's are heavenly friend, you are the master & I am your lowly grasshopper! :)
Smiles,
Susie
