Wednesday Flea Market
Hi all!
Yesterday my husband had the day off, so we decided to go to the little Wednesday flea market in Ventura. They have it every week, but I rarely go. No time!!
We went up there for just a little bit, and look what I found. This beautiful old picture of St Christina. I loved the frame, but of course I couldn't resist this picture with a crown. The lady wanted $40 for her, but later I got it for $25. I guess I was meant to find it and bring it home.
My little field trip yesterday cost me some time around the studio, so it's back to work today. See what happens when your husband is home, fun field trips!
Hope you are having a nice Thursday so far.
Chat again soon.
Love,
Rosemary

Ah, what a great find. Anything vintage with a crown is worth the haggling! Great price, Rosemary!!! Anita
I am up before dawn again. I love to seek out new blogs in the quite of the morning before all the hubbub starts. Today I found your wonderful blog. What a great flea market find! Was that Ventura, California? I used to live there.
Hi Rosemary,
Glad that you had the day off away from work, with your husband.
What a lovely vintage photo with crown.
Happy weekend

Hi Rosemary! She is lovely! The frame is very cool. I need an oval frame for a picture of my Mother when she was a little girl. Relatives have told me that when I was the same age as the picture that I looked just like that picture so I must frame it, you know?
GORGEOUS!

Rosemary,
It was worth the time away from work....it's really a treasure at any price....but you did get a deal on it. I did click on it to enlarge and it has just the perfect age to it.
I know what you mean by feeling guilty about taking time away from work. I missed out on going to the an art fair with Laura to work~ Boo Hoo!
