Views From My Weekend!

Hello all,
Hope you had a great weekend!
My husband and I had a little weekend getaway for our upcoming anniversary, which is actually this coming Thursday, October 23. It it our 32ND!!
We went to San Luis Obispo. A college, beach town 2 1/2 hours up the coast from our home. It was lovely Fall weather. We had a wonderful time relaxing, and exploring.
We stayed at the Apple Farm. Quaint rooms, good food, and atmosphere.
I didn't get too many photos, but one I did get was of the waterwheel, entrance, and beautiful plants. Our daughter Amanda and her husband Joe met us for lunch on Sunday afternoon. They were traveling back from their weekend getaway to Half Moon Bay. A little farther up the coast, almost to San Francisco. They went up for the Pumpkin Festival that is held there every year.
While touring around, we found an old cemetery from the 1800's. I am fascinated by them. I took some photos of the interesting headstones.
We just got back home today, so I am busy playing catch up. I will try to get around to your blogs asap.
Hope you have a great week!
Love,
Rosemary

Looks like a fun get away. We were at Morro Bay this summer, I love this area too. That looks like the cemetery at Cambria (is it). We visited it too and took lots of pictures of the monuments...plus saw a snake...scared me right back to the car:). Hugs, Linda

Looks like a great weekend Rosemary!

You have mentioned two of my favorite places...San Luis Obispo & Half Moon Bay. We spent night 1 of our Honeymoon is HMB & night 2 in SLO (Shell Beach actually). Such fun places to visit, and we love the drive too!

Hi Rosemary,
I went to school there at Cal Poly so I know the area very well. I've stayed at the Apple Farm too, and love it. Glad you had such a fun trip, and Happy Anniversary.
Take care,

Late chiming in, but I too loved the pictures you shared. The pumpkins on the ladder steps is a great idea to borrow! Hope you have a lovely anniversary...!

Happy Anniversary! Sounds like fun getaway! I love looking at old cemeteries. My daughter had to do a grave rubbing for her history class so we went to an old local one over the weekend.
