Happy share your dress form day!

Tiffany of www.shabbyscraps.typepad.com/ is hosting this fun day, so if you go to her blog you can get all of the links to the participants.

Many of you have seen my dress form before. Her name is Isabella Crane, named by my daughter. Since she does not have a head, the headless horseman reference. Here she is in all her finery. When you click to make larger, you will see she is wearing a couple of pieces made by the fantastic Jamie of Simply Me Art. http://simplymeart.blogspot.com/ Jamie has her dress form up for today as well. Isabella is also wearing an antique locket, that belonged to my Aunt. She keeps me company as I work in my office, on my art pieces.

Isabella was a Mother's Day gift from my husband. She was purchased at the Agoura Antique Mart.
The little glitter heart, was a present from Madai of Wren Cottage. Now for Isabella's new friend Helene. I picked her up yesterday from Jennifer Grey of www.theoldpaintedcottage.com/ I had admired her in Jennifer's booth at the Ventura Flea Market. I asked Jen if she was still for sale, and she was. Since I just got her yesterday, she isn't all dressed up yet, I put her in a corner in my newly done bedroom. I will have fun figuring out what she will wear. By the way, I didn't name her, Jennifer told me her name was Helene.

I hope you enjoy seeing all of the dress forms out there today.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love,
Rosemary, Isabella, and Helene

I really love Isabella Crane... and the way you gussied her up. NICE.

Helene, I prefer her nude. She is so shabby and vintage and that pink bow is perfect for her.

Today as I was dragging my old cupboard out to paint, I thought of you. I know you have one very like it. (Actually Sweet Hubby dragged, I pointed in the direction it needed to go.)

Your new dress form is very cool. Nice for your other one to have a friend. :)

I know I'm a bit late viewing your forms, but It's been pretty hectic around here. I love them both. Is the new one wood? She looks like wood, but that would be awfully heavy. You did good picking her up, she's a beauty. Can't wait to see how you dress her up.
