Getting Ready For Thanksgiving!

Hi all!
Hope you are having a good week so far.
Now that Halloween is over and put away, I am concentrating on Thanksgiving.
I love the Fall decorations, and I hate when this holiday is skipped over for Christmas. It's almost like it doesn't exsist.
Don't get me wrong, I love Christmas, and the decorations, but let's not skip over a beautiful Fall holiday.
Anyway, here are some pictures I snapped this morning before my walk.
Hope you enjoy!
I am hosting Thanksgiving, and it's going to be a house full. I think it will be a lot of fun, and of course it's baby Jake's first Thanksgiving!!
Have a wonderful day!
Chat again soon.
Love,
Rosemary

  2. Such lovely decorations! I'm afraid I'm one of those who is guilty of wanting to skip over Thanksgiving. Just the decorating, NOT the good food!

  8. Hey Rosemary!
I wholeheartedly agree that Christmas decorations and sales and what not have pushed Thanksgiving out! I always remember seeing pictures of turkeys and pilgrims in the schools and now, well, nothing really. Your decorations are lovely!!! Anita

  9. I love Thanksgiving! Such a gentle holiday!

I can guarantee that there may be many desserts at your table at Thanksgiving -- but the sweetest thing there will be BABY JAKE!!!

P.S. Keep asking your daughter to help do something in the kitchen so that you get to hold Jake alot. bwa-ha-ha grandmothers can be tricky!!!

  11. Hello, this is Yoli. I want to sincerely thank you for recently posting comment on my old blog, Apron of the Month Club. Your words of faith and encouragement are very special to me especially with our sudden relocation news and increased stress.

The company I work for is relocating my job to a new city by January 1st. I also co-own an online boutique with my sister Jessica, and we have decided to professionally seek solo creative directions. So, I am opening up a new online boutique and new blog. I look forward to God opening new doors. My kids and are excited about new adventures.

Please know that I read each and every comment you post. They are my inspiration and confirmation of God’s love. Please add me to your list of blogs that you follow.

    God Bless You!
    Yoli

  12. It is the forgotten holiday. Working in retail...seems like we go from Halloween to Christmas on the dot. And I, like you, just hate that!

You have some lovely decor up, love the sweet little details! :D

  14. I love the decorations. My daughter works at a craft store and you'd think we'd get more items than we do. But for some reason we always postpone and then the season is gone. We do have something really cool right now, they are plastic leaves. We have them scattered on our fireplace. I love the plastic leaves. I smile each time I walk by the fire place.

  15. I love all your fall decorations! Since I don't do any Halloween decorations I have fall stuff up for quite a while. Thanksgiving sounds like it's going to be a full house at your place!
