Flea Market Finds from Ventura!!

Hi all!!
Happy Monday!!

Bathroom remodel update.
The tile was grouted today, and the new toilet installed.
Still have fixtures to get installed, and painting to be done.
Will post pictures soon.

Yesterday was the Ventura Flea Market. Just thought you might like to see my finds.

I got this great old chandelier. I may have it rewired, and put it over my kitchen table.
I loved the look of it. Cost was $40.

I have seen these old door knockers. I really think they are cute. It's the first time I found one at the flea market. It's cast iron, and very heavy. I like the ring on the finger. Cost $10

I got this old white birdhouse for $15. I hope you are all having a great day!!

Love,
Rosemary

  9. I love your little white birdhouse. I found one similar to that the other day with a little picket fence attached to it. The same day I found the birdhouse, I also came across a brass floral bedpost that attached very nicely to the top of the birdhouse. I gave it to my dad for Father's Day. I wish I would have taken a picture of it to show you. I have another matching brass bedpost that I will post of picture of on my blog. Please stop by sometime! Take Care,
    Colana

  11. It's a chanticleer chandelier! Very unique.

My mom used to have a hand like that but it wasn't meant for a door knocker, it was on a small stand and it held a hand towel in the bathroom.

  13. I wish I were brave enough to buy things that need to be rewired. I'm such a coward. The other day I ran across an old lamp, big turquoise basee that needed rewiring badly. Only $20. But nope, I couldnt do it. Maybe next time. ;)
