What I Did With Those Yard Sale Finds!!

In my last post, you saw the items I picked up from a great Friday yard sale. Here is what I did with them.
I put a pumpkin under the trellis and tied an orange and black ribbon on top.
The cute wire stand did not come from the yard sale. I stopped at Home Goods on the way home and picked it up. I thought it was so cute I couldn't resist.

Here is the little green and white bird house. I hung it outside my kitchen window.
The little red chair is temporarily holding a Halloween vignette. The antique glass jar is holding (The best Halloween candy, candy corn)

That rusty old $1 shovel got some pretty leaves and ribbon tied around it for a new look.
My home is fully decorated for Halloween now, so in the coming days you will be seeing a lot more.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday!

  8. Love the "Magic of Hallowe'en " box.I like the idea that all it takes is for people to declare a box magic for it to actually be magic- that's how it works, the magic is already there, all you need is to find it :)I love to see what you've done with your finds. I'm building up my website-I'd really love you to stop by for a look: words.inkandescence.com

  18. Rosemary,
I must apologize to you. I have seen your name on so many blogs and I think once or twice on mine. I assumed (there was my first mistake) that you were Rosemary from Rosemary's Attic. I never clicked on your name. And to be honest, I don't know why I did this morning. Please accept my apology for not posting on your blog sooner (I thought I was, ha!) And your house and style are so beautiful that I'm sorry for the all of the lost time I could have been admiring your things!

Adding you to my blog roll right now!!

    Love,
    Julie

  21. I really like that 2 tiered basket thing. I wish we had a home goods around here, but we don't. I need to see if there is one in Dallas, as I'll be in that area this weekend. I love all of your fall decorations. Wish it felt more like fall around here.
