So It's Friday, and I see that Fridays should be inspirational. When I walked outside this morning, I thought these lovely hydrangeas seemed inspiring. Considering that we had unusually cold weather this past winter, at least for Southern California. We thought these flowers were not coming back, but they fooled us.
The fuchsia next to the hydrangea was really frozen, but it's coming along now too.
I also thought that you might like to see my little garden vignette. The cute sign came from the Ventura flea market. The angel statue came from a favorite shop in town. The rusty garden fence came from the Paris Flea Market (Not really in Paris), and the bird house was built by my husband Mark to hide a sprinkler pipe.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
Your hydrangea is gorgeous!! They actually seem to do better when it's a little cold in the winter (and in our case, spring!) such a pretty pink color.

ReplyDeleteYour hydrangeas are beautiful! They are one of my favourite flowers, and this summer I am fortunate enough to be working in a place surrounded by beautiful flowers such as yours.
Oh, I love your hydrangeas & the angel sign. Something about all those that just go together in a garden. So pretty!

What a beautiful corner of your garden with the pinkish Hydrangeas and your pretty decorations! We grow hydrangeas here too and we have a colder climate, but they always coming back, so don't worry next winter! Carol xox
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangea is just beautiful. That's something that doesn't grow very well here in Northern New Mexico. We had such a hard winter here, too, that my hydrangeas didn't come back at all!
