Isabella Crane Gets New Outfit!

Hi all!
Happy Wednesday!
As you probably know, my daughter named my dress form Isabella Crane. A play on the headless horseman. I have had her for over a year now, and the poor thing hadn't gotten a new outfit. She wore her long pink tulle skirt for so long. On Saturday I went to The Little French Flea Market. A fairly new flea market put on by my friend Karen. I promise to take pictures next time. I actually forgot to bring my camera.
Anyway I bought this cute little white petticoat from Karen. Now Isabella is wearing it. I recently purchased these wings for her as well. A fun little Etsy purchase.
Around her neck is an antique locket given to me by my Aunt when I was a young girl.
My house painters are still painting away. I went out for a mani/pedi today, a nice little break. Delivered some of my goodies around town, and now I am blog posting.

Here We Go Again!!!

Many a blog post has been written on this subject. Here we go again. Inspiration!
Inspiring you to do a design like I do is one thing, but copying is another.
I am very unhappy today to see a couple of my designs copied. These are designs that I came up with all by myself in my own crazy head. If you would like to do one of my designs, please ask permission.
I know this has happened to others before, as I have read and sympathized with each of you. I know it is a form of flattery, but....
I can't tell you how weird it is to go to a blog, see a post with your very design, down to the vintage index card etc.
I am not going to rant on about this, but I just needed to talk to my blog buddies about it.

Had A Great Day!!

Hi all!
Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!
Mine started off here, at the Rose Bowl Flea Market.
My husband and I walked around for hours. I bought some cute, and interesting items, which I will post at a later date. I had my favorite frozen lemonade, and got a little sun on my shoulders. It was 81 yesterday! Yay for that.
It was a great day!
Later in the afternoon, we went to my daughter's house, where we met my mom, and all had a lovely dinner together.
Hope you had fun too!
I must make this a short post. I am expecting house painters this morning. We are getting the outside of our house painted.

Tee Shirts, Crowns, and Containers!

Hi all!
Hope you are having a nice week.
Just in case you thought I was in my backyard sipping lemonade, and taking advantage of our nice Southern California weather, guess again.
I have been folding, gluing and glittering.
Did you know that you could make a tiny baby tee shirt out of a cocktail napkin?
Well normally you would use a cocktail size napkin, but my daughter bought the luncheon size for the baby shower she is throwing next week. So I tried it, and it worked well.
This is one of my hidden talents. People found out I can do this, now every baby shower I am elected the tee shirt napkin folder. It makes the cutest little decoration or party favor. It does take time to do, so you must plan ahead. No folding the night before the shower.
All of these crowns and candy containers are being shipped off tomorrow. Thought you might like to see them before they leave.
